"Johan Linderoth as Orfeo; his lithe and pleasing tenor is light and velvety in tone." "In this one there is some fine instrumental playing, with the outstandingly crisp delivery and rhythmic vitality of the wind instruments bringing particular pleasure."

"This is, quite simply, the most outstanding recording of Membra Jesu Nostri I've ever heard, and is, I feel, quite faultless" Adrian Horsewood - Early Music Today "it comes very close to being at the top of an increasingly tall and wobbly pile of sacred Membrae" Dominy Clemens – MusicWeb International "If you look for a really good recording of this masterpiece, you won't be disappointed if you go for this disc" Johan van Veen – MusicWeb International, Jan. 2017 "The singers and players are exquisite, their chosen tempos falling in the middle of their extant competitors. It is a superb rendition in the chosen style, the singing and playing quite lovely" J. F. Weber – Fanfare Magazine, March 2017 |
